02 Fundraise

Raise money for the trust.

Ask us before you start

Planning a swim, a run, a sale or a birthday appeal? Get in touch first and the trust will help you set it up properly. The trust holds a NSW fundraising authority, number CFN/23375.

Use the trust’s name with care

Please don’t present your event as run by the trust unless it has agreed. Saying you are raising money for Coffs Harbour Animal Rescue Trust (CHART) is clear and honest.

Passing it on

When your fundraising is done, ask the trust how to pass the money on and whether receipts can be issued to your donors.

03 Spread the word

Tell someone who loves this coast.

A small charity grows by word of mouth. Share this site with friends who swim, surf, dive, fish or walk the Coffs Coast.

04 Volunteer

Give your time.

Want to help with your skills or your time? Ask us how you can help, and the trust will tell you what it needs.

If you want hands-on rescue training, the specialist rescue groups train their own volunteers: ORRCA for marine mammals and WIRES for native wildlife.
